Found an injured animal?

FOR URGENT WILDLIFE ENQUIRIES, PLEASE CALL OUR HELPLINE ON 01375 893893
Finding an injured, sick or orphaned wild animal can be a scary experience, but please don’t panic! In order to give us the best chance at being able to help, please take note of the following:
For small animals, please gently place them in a secure container (with air holes) with a towel at the bottom and bring them to our hospital in Orsett (address at base of page)
For larger animals , please call the hospital for advice.
Please stay with any casualty until a rescuer arrives. If it escapes, is collected by another individual or, sadly, passes away, please let us know immediately on 01375 893893
Please DO NOT attempt to feed or raise any wild animal by yourself. These creatures need specialist care, so please bring them to us for professional help ASAP.
PLEASE NOTE, we receive over 100 calls each day asking for help and our ambulance is very busy. Sadly, we cannot get to every location so please be prepared to transport the casualty to us if required.
