at last the weather is warm enough to start releasing the hedgehogs that we have been overwintering and thanks to the help of a great guy called Johan, 28 of them are lucky enough have gone to the beautiful village of holmbury st Mary for rehabilitation. we are very grateful to the folks there who have offered care and release sites for them. frankly we are glad to see the backs of the little stinkers ! bleeding prefusley this was a very tricky fishing hook removal. although we had to sedate the swan surgical intervention was avoided. the swan also had another hook stuck in the joint of one of its legs which had become infected. both us, and the rspca who bought the swan in, have had the most horrendously busy, blood soaked night . 😣 ... I wish to God that fishermen would realise the pain they inflict. Not just on the fish they catch but on the rest of wildlife. I believe in Karma. The pain you inflict in life should come back tenfold ❤️xx
