Imagine how many sick, injured and orphaned wild animals we could help this coming spring and summer if our 12000+ supporters all texted £1. We are getting busier every year and we really need your help. Please text £1 to help our wildlife. Thank you

We are really swamped with animals currently especially baby birds. We are mindful that hedgehog baby season is also underway. We already spend over £100 a week on food for our adult hedgehog patients. If you would like to help us by donating dog/puppy food we would be really grateful. Last year our supporters were fantastic but some of you sent food through our Amazon, wishlist and we were concerned that people were paying far more that way. You can always bring in food if you are local or ... See more

Our facebook post from earlier in the week has received much attention. Clearly, it is a difficult subject to tackle. Most of our staff and volunteers have pets themselves. However, when cats attacks birds, or dogs attack swans in a park, we will post this. These are factual posts about the daily work we do. Our volunteers choose to volunteer for us ... See more

Vet Tom had to get this little bird into surgery quickly today to try and stitch in two places where the little one had been attacked by a cat. The bird recovered nicely from the anaesthetic and we hope we caught the infection in time.

Manically busy day today and still more animals on their way this evening. One of our saddest patients was a hedgehog we had to put to sleep due to a front leg missing and a hind leg broken off. This poor animal has struggled on like this for sometime before being found and brought to our hospital.

Todays hoard of sacrifices to the cat gods. 37 birds didn't survive, another 22 along with a baby rabbit, a frog 2 slow worms and a lizard are still fighting for their lives . Please try and keep you cats in folks this daily slaughter is not only an ecological disaster but the volunteers having to deal with this are also very upset and stressed .

Having been advised not to feed a baby bird anything, we will have the diet needed , it is a tad frustrating to now have to clean off dried meal worms glued on with egg yolk from a young robin 🙄 more harm that good can be caused by incorrect food and feeding methods.
